Sandy Bay

We took Chiara to the beach when she was just 2 weeks old. She seemed to approve - just like our 2 big girls. It was fun to be back here with our new baby because the last time we were here was about 4 days before she was born and I was thinking a lot about labour and being induced and whether our baby was going to be a girl or a boy!

We had a lovely afternoon together at the Sandy Bay Beach. It's so nice to have Mick on holidays, I love it, the girls love it and he loves it!  Tassie is such a nice place to live, especially when the sun is out.

Mick and the girls had a big play in the playground when we first got there and Chiara and I sat in the shade under a tree and watched. Mick is such a great dad and always makes an effort to play with the girls when we go places. (I'm usually lazy and just watch!)
We then went for a bit of a walk through the bushland before setting ourselves up on the beach with our buckets and spades! The girls had such a great time and didn't really want to leave, but as the sun went down it started to get a bit cool and our sunburn was starting to show (we put sunscreen on the girls, but not ourselves!)

I think we will have to spend quite a few days at the beach with these sun loving girls over the summer holidays!
