Cousins

We had a Woolley cousins get together while Laura was here, well actually we had a few, but our main event was held on Saturday 8th October. It was a kid free event so we met up at Salamanca and spent an hour or so at the market, it was a perfect day for the market and I really enjoyed having a look around. We then had a nice lunch at The Quarry before heading over to Eastlands to the cinemas to see The Help. It was a great day and I really enjoyed it. I love my cousins!!!

So while us girls were out relaxing and having fun together our kids were all being looked after by their dads or grandparents. Mick decided to take Leilani and Emily down to Dru Point for a play so Mum took Kobe and Jesse down aswell. It was a nice thought that while I was out playing with my cousins, so were Leilani and Emily!!!!

6 weeks with Laura, Kobe and Jesse

It was very exciting having Laura, Kobe and Jesse come visit us all the way from Colorado Springs for nearly 6 weeks. We had fun doing a few things with them that we wouldn't normally do. The first 2 weeks they were here were especially good because it was school holidays so Leilani was home everyday. When she went back to school things got a little bit harder - its a shame we still had to get on with day to day life while they were here and not just spend it hanging out each day!

It was so nice to finally meet little Jesse - whose not so little anymore. What a cute little boy who loves getting into everything! Kobe was so much more grown up than last time we saw him - which was in England nearly 2 years ago. He is a smart little boy and so brave - he'll try anything!

It was also great to see Laura again and spend some time with her. I often feel sad that she lives so far away but such is life I guess! I hope that we can go visit them in Colorado Springs one day soon.

We visited Zoo Doo and Richmond one Saturday while they were here. It was a really fun day and nice to be together with nearly all the family. Here are a few shots from Zoo Doo:
