Emily turned 5 on Sunday 26th February 2012. As always she was super excited about her birthday.
Because she had a party last year we decided this year we would just have a BBQ dinner and cake with family on Saturday.
We decided to get the girls a Spring Free Trampoline for their birthdays this year so we spent some of the day setting that up (it was really quite difficult!) and Em got a couple of presents on Saturday morning, so she could play with them with her cousins - a blow up pool and slippery slide. It turned out to be one of the hottest days all summer on the Saturday so the pool was great for a few hours, but Emily decided she didn't really like it once it became dirty with bits of grass floating around! haha.
Emily asked Grandad if he would bring up his 'music' and play some songs while the kids played pass the parcel. Thanks Grandad.
Happy 5th Birthday Em. We love you so much. You are kind and caring and very very funny! You love to giggle and make people laugh. You have a super memory and can remember all sorts of things. You enjoy playing on your own and can entertain yourself for quite a while if you are in the right mood. You are excited about learning to read and write and love meeting all the letter-land characters at school. You love to sing and you have a very sweet little voice.
You are brave (braver than your big sister) and you love to help out and do things for other people.
What a gorgeous five year old you are!
