Our Holiday {Part One}

 In June we went on a little family holiday. Our journey began in Devonport on the Spirit of Tasmania. I couldn't believe how tiny the boat was - it had been quite a few years since I was last on the boat! We didn't really have a real lot of time to explore the boat as it was dinner time once we got on, so we quickly ate, had a little look around and then headed to the cabin for bed. The kids were excited.
It was a good trip over and everyone slept pretty well.

When we arrived in Melbourne the following morning we headed straight for Mc Donalds for a bacon and egg Mc muffin! We all felt pretty yuck, having not showered and getting up pretty early and having to head straight to the car.

We decided to take a leisurely drive south down the coast to Sorrento as Mum had mentioned it was really nice down there. I'm so glad we did as it was a gorgeous drive and such a lovely sea side town. It would have been nice to stay longer but we just stopped at a few shops (for some famous Vanilla Slice) and at a playground so the kids could have a play before heading north again.

On our way back we drove up Arthurs Seat and the view was amazing. Definitely a park of Victoria I don't usually see!

Once we arrived in Melbourne
