Mick loves to fly his kite. He has had it for a long time and even took me out to this same spot to fly it when we were dating! He often takes the kids here to fly it - usually when I'm out or something. They love it too - especially Leilani. Emily just likes to chase the kite's shadow! It was nice to go along with them this time - it was another beautiful Sunday afternoon!
Mick is pretty good at flying the kite. It's quite fun to watch him do fast twists and twirls!

oh I wonder if Mick will take the boys to see the kite when we get there. They love kites - well Kobe does. We bought a cheap one and it didn't really work but I didnt put much effort into it.. But we see them at the park all the time and Kobe always wants them when we go to wal-mart - because that's where we got the last one from..lol
we'll have to have a kite off...considering one of ours ran out of string and went flying off into the Derwent somewhere, not liking our chances!! So fun though.
